All About Us

A road to better health with Traditional Chinese and Rongoā Māori Medicine

At Jing Well Acupuncture, our practitioners are a group of highly qualified and registered Traditional Chinese Medicine and Rongoā Māori specialists. We sincerely care about your well-being, and this caring stems from a perspective of deep understanding. We take pride in taking the time to understand what each person needs in order to reach wellness. That’s why so many of our clients become regulars, and we continue to grow and expand year after year. As we put our clients first, you have the freedom to exclude any technique from your treatment that you are not comfortable with.

Although our Traditional Chinese Medicine  practitioners are commonly referred to as Acupuncturists, they adhere to and practice from the foundation of Traditional Chinese Medicine - drawing from a well of circa 6000 years of intense study of treating disease and restoring wellness through natural means. In digging down to and treating the root cause of disease, our practitioners utilise a variety of techniques, including: acupuncture (including body, auricular and scalp acupuncture), cupping, moxibustion and tuina.

Our Pourongoā Māori-Indigenous Health practitioner embodies her tohunga lineage renowned for their healing services in Rongoā Maori, Mirimiri, Romiromi and Lomilomi bodywork. Through kōhatu (stone) and rākau (native plant) application a treatment will assist anatomical alignment and revitalise a balanced integration of body, mind, spirit and family.

Our team is experienced in treating a wide range of conditions and ailments and we take an active interest in your personal health journey - enabling you to help yourself where possible and encouraging self-care through providing life-style and dietary advice. We are also ACC Providers, so are also able to treat injuries and accidents covered by ACC.

Jing Well Acupuncture is ready to apply the wisdom of thousands of years of Traditional Medicine to help you, wherever you may currently be in your own health journey.
